Entertainment Tonight...Mark Steines hunk dances! Mary Hart's send-off celebration!

If you've been channel-surfing this past week, then you've obviously been assaulted with a myriad of blurbs announcing Mary Hart will host her last segment of Entertainment Tonight tomorrow evening.


Today, I bolted upright when I caught sight of host - Mark Steines - dancing up a storm in a sneak preview of the big celebrations which will feature Mary's co-workers on the podium over the years at the highly-rated Entertainment tabloid-style show.

What a hunk!
In the event Ms. Hart is not your cup of tea (years ago one viewer actually tried to sue Ms. Hart and Entertainment Tonight on the grounds that her voice ricocheting over the airwaves each night grated on their nerves) then tune in to catch Steines.

In addition to being a smooth dancer capable of shaking his booty with the best of them, Steines is also a snappy dresser worth emulating, dudes..

Readers may recall that Mark was named on my 10 Best-Dressed Men list for 2010.

Michael Douglas..Entertainment Tonight stalks Catherine Zeta-Jones! Sleazy & shocking...

ET stalks emotionally-stricken subjects!

That was quite a shocking video tabloid reporters broadcast at the dinner hour on Entertainment Tonight a few days ago.

The popular entertainment show dedicated a segment of their normally-upbeat half-hour bill-of-fare (which primarily focuses on luminaries in the Film & TV industry) to enlighten viewers about the status of Michael Douglas’s current battle with throat cancer.

Although fans of the Oscar-winner appreciated the health update,  ET’s disturbing lack of sensitivity turned the news alert into a tawdry tabloid piece of sensational trash the hosts should be ashamed of.

For example, ET aired footage their house paparazzi took on the fly, after chasing down a confrontation between actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and sleazy free-lance photographers anxious to capture traumatic images of the normally well-composed actress breaking down in tears.

The inappropriate press "stalking" triggered the ugly incident.

Instead of shutting down their cameras, and showing some respect and compassion, ET’ cold-hearted crew moved in closer for the kill.

And what of Mr. Douglas?

The poor man continues to valiantly struggle with throat cancer, and should be left alone to heal, instead of being treated like a pitiful caged animal to exploited at whim.

The sleazy news report smacked of the tasteless story ET turned out on Patrick Swayze just prior to his death.

On that shocking occasion, Mary Hart trampled all over Swayze’s right to privacy, in spectacular insensitive fashion.

Why?

Because heart-wrenching vigils, high drama, and teary-eyed emotionally-distraught celebrities - breaking down in the street  - rev up the ratings!

Shame!

Cher imagines herself a twenty-something babe!

It's rare to catch an up-close shot of Cher - but ET - managed to pull it off.

When the old trooper alighted next to host Mark Steines - on the Red Carpet event for the Daytime Emmys  - I was startled by Cher's appearance.

The skin on her face was wrinkle-free, "even" in skin tone (unrealistically so), and so tight that it restricted muscle- movement in the most unflattering way.

Uh-huh!

Cher is a plastic surgery junkie!

Because of it, the Pop Icon has become a caricature of herself.

Mary Hart...Patrick Swayze coverage on ET shocking & stoops to new low...

Entertainment Tonight - Mary Hart, in particular - hit an all-time low last night in respect to their shocking thoughtless report on Patrick Swayze's current battle with a life-threatening illness.

While the perky bimbo recited an insensitive voice-over on the entertainment news tabloid show, staff at ET flooded the boob tube with gaunt images of Swayze literally fighting for his life!

And who was Hart's discerning upstanding source?

The National Enquirer!

Yup, solid reporting there, Mary.

In my mind's eye, Entertainment Tonight (and little Miss goodie-two-shoes) lost all your credibility with that senseless numbing report, which would have been better left in a trash can somewhere!

Throwing the spotlight on a gravely-ill person - celeb or not - was cruel and unusual punishment, for starters.

Don't you know the meaning of the word empathy, Ms. Hart?

Trying walking in Mr. Swayze's shoes for a day!

Perhaps then you'll wake up, maybe even "get it".

It must be a very ugly sight when you take a glance at yourself in the mirror.

Your karma stinks, too!
