Last week - when Sarah Palin barked out at a rally that Obama was a disreputable candidate because he allegedly hung out with known "terrorists" - the old you-know-what hit the fan!

The shocking behaviour gave many the distinct impression - that Palin was no better than a low-class piece of white trash - of the ilk and nature often guesting on the Jerry Springer Show.
Palin must have reeled in shock when the heavens fell down on her head later.
Angry reactions to her ugly campaign tactics - deceitfully conjured up in a bold-faced effort to discredit the leading candidate - were swift and severe.
But, it was a curious incident in the aftermath, that nabbed my attention.
At the tail end of week - a few alleged supporters back East - shouted out a a slew of hateful remarks anonymously from the raucous crowd at a McCain rally.
"Barack is an Arab," one cried out in an accusatory fashion.
On the heels of that shocking outburst, another faceless individual in the crowd, hurled another shocking leveller.
"Barack is a terrorist."
John McCain was quick to quash the ugly accusations, but nonetheless, the whole sorry scenario appeared highly suspect to me.
It was not until Sarah Palin came out on the airwaves - and cast Barack as a candidate with "terrorist" leanings - that any of this vulgar nonsense every hit the campaign trail.
Then, it suddenly hit me, like a bolt of lightning.
Just maybe, Todd Palin was behind it!
If any of you screened the film - "All the President's Men" - then you'll no doubt recall that one of "tricky Dick's henchmen" noted on-screen that his team of nasty rebel rousers (acting on the politician's behalf) often engaged in nefarious tactics to wreck havoc - and ultimately - disrupt the "enemy" camp.
"We rat fu**ked 'em," he laughed gleefully to Robert Redford's character in the film.

Sure - I just betcha - the 1st Dude hired a couple of his Alaskan red-neck friends to mingle in the crowd - and shut out the wild falsehoods - to effect damage control.
After all - didn't the Palin folks need to convince the American public that Sarah was not the only one that felt Obama had terrorist ties worthy being leery of - after her foot-in-the-mouth blunder last week?
And, the covert maneuver - if carried out with military-style perfection - would surely rustle up additional accolades for McCain, too.
By stepping in - and denouncing the unsubstantiated accusations of the ugly mob - McCain would end up looking a promising "Commander-in-Chief" with all the right stuff.
Think about it!
