Walt Disney Concert Hall...Handel's Messiah Sing-a-Long! Tonight @ 7 pm...

Last week, Hanel fans rejoiced in the opportunity to attend a Christmas celebration at the Walt Disney Concert Hall - which included - participation in a Handel's Messiah sing-a-long.!

On the 250th Anniveersary of Handel's death it was a precious way to end the year.

If you missed it, you have a second shot at it.

Tonight, there will be a repeat performance @ 7 pm at the dazzling Hall which was designed by renowned architect Frank Gehry.

Although tickets may be sold out, there is a slim chance there may be last-minute rush seats at the door.

The Master Chorale production is headed up by musical director Grant Gershon.

So, if you are an adventurous music lover, you may throw caution to the wind and dash downtown and try your luck!

One of my favourite renditions of the Messiah may be heard at the following link:

Happy Holidays!

President Barack Obama...to speak in downtown Los Angeles. Free tickets available by virtue of an online lotto!

Guess who's coming to town?

Well, to a Town Hall meeting, to be more precise.

Nope, not Santa Clause. But, close to it.

Stimulus man, President Barack Obama (known to dedicated followers as "the great one"), is slated to grace "we the people" with his presence in our bustling metropolis later this week.

The celebrated speaking engagement begins precisely at 1 p.m. on Thursday March 19th at the Miguel Contrera Learning Complex which is situated at 322 Lucas Avenue in Los Angeles.

Although the high-profile meet 'n greet is free, tickets are required to gain entrance into the much-anticipated event.

A limited number of tickets are currently available through an online lottery until noon on March 17th (tomorrow).

Visit whitehouse.gov/latownhall to access the lottery registration form!

See 'ya there!

Just another snow job, do 'ya think?

Barack Obama...quote of the day!

A political pundit joked the other day on National Television that God created the earth in a mere seven days - at which point - he took a jab at Barack Obama in what amounted to the quote of the day.

"The new Messiah in Washington hasn't managed to accomplish much in sixty."
