Good Riddance Day...Times Square good-bye to blues party!

Cast of American Idiot!

The cast of "American Idiot" will be on hand.

And, a posse of New Yorkers - with tongue-in-cheek - too!

The celebrated occasion?

The annual "toss the blues away" party!

Uh-huh.

Tomorrow, the masses will descend on Times Square with all their bad memories in town from 2010, to offer them up to a giant shredding machine smack dab in the middle of the mean streets of Manhattan!

The diligent few will arive around 12:00 noon on Broadway ( wrap is at 1:30 p.m.) between 46th & 47th Streets - to join in on a joyous occasion with the express intent of ensuring that - by the end of the week - the heady New Year will kick off fresh with a bang and a "pop" and all the "right stuff".

The most creative disposal paying homage to the momentous destruction of "human blues" will win a V.I.P. package to the "American Idiot" stage show currently entertaining audiences on Theatre row.

So, toss on some finery, and head down there on the morrow, eh?

I won't be there in person, but, I'll be there in spirit!

I'm shredding nasty memories of the entire AFI Public Relations staff - an elitist bunch of incompetent shits - who presided over the proceedings this year in Hollywood and ruined the festival for most die-hard movie buffs!

And, giving a good heave-ho to all the cashiers at - Rite-Aid, CVS and McDonald's - who had all the personality, intelligence, wit, and charm - of a worm to boot!

I'm praying next year will be mucho better, how 'bout you?

'Til then.

Facebook...stupid security measures frustrate! Clueless staff idiots!

Today, at a cafe in San Francisco, I attempted to log-in to my account at Facebook as usual, when I encountered a stupid automatic security measure from the staff at the social hub site.

Although I have accessed my account from the same location over the past week, the dialogue box alleged that since the WiFi service was "allegedly" one that I never facilitated before, that it would be necessary to establish my identity before access would be allowed to my account!

I can appreciate the necessity of security measures, but what followed next, was sheer lunacy!

Instead of requesting pertinent relevant information to firmly establish "who I am" (such as password and/or ID number), Facebook elected to select photos from my "friends" list, with a demand that I identify individuals they "circled" (copy-catting Perez Hilton, I dare say!) in the snapshots posted on my facebook pages.

Ludicrous!

For starters - they picked "friends of friends"  in the publicity stills - who I have never met in my entire life.

How am I expected to fathom who a total stranger is?

Facebook members who fail to correctly answer two of the so-called "identifying" questions will be denied access on the grounds they established they were not the owner (member) of the account.

But, get this!

One minute, Facebook is arguing to the news media that their service should permit other individuals to be informed of a member's location status, when they are kibitzing on line.

In the next, they are questioning from whence an individual logs on - in spite of the fact it is a matter-of-record in their "private files" - that the Member has checked in from that "hot spot" on dozens of occasions.

The folks at Facebook are idiots in my estimation!

As Leonardo DiCaprio might say in - "Catch me if you Can" - do your concur?

There outta be a law against such nonesense!

Facebook is more trouble than its worth at this juncture.

Facebook denies access on looney-tunes grounds!

San Francisco...Police shake down innocent tourists! Residents think they own streets...

San Francisco Police Force rife with pigs!

Gosh, what a bunch of losers in San Francisco - starting with the local residents right on down to the Police Force.

Pigs!

"If you're going to San Francisco" be forewarned!

For starters, local residents think they own the side streets (Douglass/Eureka/Castro District) beyond their apartments, homes, whatever.

What's the old saying?

"We be here, first!"

Greedy San Franciscans like the tourist dollars, but don't park in front of their dwellings, or stroll down "their" streets.

Or, they will sick the cops on 'ya!

Yes, the Police Force is run by idiots who couldn't investigate their way out of a paper bag.

Even a wet one!

The two I met this morning are a disgrace to Law Enforcement.

I expect they've got small dicks, too (undoubtedly the source of their ego problems).

This morning, I strode up the street to my parked vehicle to pluck up my laptop, when I spied three suspicious-looking young adults standing "around" a corner not too far off from where I was parked.

So, when I grabbed my computer - and activated my security alarm - I double-checked the doors to make sure everything was locked for fear these unsavory-looking individuals might have an eye on my SUV.

At this point, although a little nervous about leaving my car behind, I proceeded to head off to the cafe.

A short time later, two Police Vehicles cruised by, and continued on.

Then, one of the original police officers who first drove by returned - pulled over - and asked me to put my hands away from the sides of my body as he crawled out of the squad car.

"What is this all about," I asked politely.

"I'll tell you in a moment," he responded in a gruff nasty voice.

At this point, I thought I should point out that I witnessed three characters up the street who appeared to be up to no good, and did so.

"No," he responded.

"We're responding to a report about you."

I was shocked.

Then, in an accusing voice, he proceeded to allege that I was seen trying the car doors on vehicles in the street!

What a joke!

I noted that I was checking the doors of my OWN vehicle to ensure they were locked because I was leery of the three young adults I spied in the street who appeared to be acting a bid strange.

He did a double-take for obvious reasons.

Duh!

He assumed, without checking the facts, that I was simply a pedestrian without a vehicle.

Then, subsequently - because of his obvious lack of intelligence - he proceeded to conclude that the doors I was checking were on a vehicle I was trying to enter illegally or to burglarize!

What an idiot!

Obviously clued in to his grievous error at this juncture - and worred about the legal ramifications (I studied law and the man is in deep shit for Violating my rights and making false accusations without checking the facts first) - he proceeded to interrogate me about why I was walking (and not driving) and where I was going.

For starters, whether I choose to take a stroll - or drive -  is my perogative.

Even President Obama savors a long walk now and then.

Are they going to shake him down, too?

I pointed out that I was going to a cafe for a cup of tea and to check my e-mail.

I noted that it was simpler to just walk the few blocks and get some exercise.

After all, finding parking on Church at that hour, was usually slim to none.

Now, instead of admitting his error, he quizzed me about the location of the cafe.

When I gave him the basic location, he jumped on my response.

"Is it at 16th or 18th Street?"

I pointed out that I resided in Los Angeles and that I was not familiar with the exact address, but when I physically walked into the area (or drove), I could locate it by sight.

Golly, this guy had sh** for brains, didn't he???

One of those cocky snippy types, if you get my drift!

He was rude, insulting, and accusing.

The second cop that drove up a few minutes later wasn't as bad.

He appeared to have a little common sense and some ability in the logic department.

I noted that my security alarm turns the lights off and on when I exit and enter the vehicle, and that should have signalled to the resident spying out their window, that I had a key.

Without doubt, I was entering and exiting a locked car that I owned!

That resident obviously had no powers of deduction, reasoning ability, or even an ounce of intelligence.

The individual called the police for one of two reasons.

They were either just plain stupid and made a judgment in error.

Or, they called the police deliberately, to shake down tourists (like myself) who choose to park on
 the side street.

Sorry, folks, you don't own the streets.

Dream on!

And the next time you pull a stupid stunt like that - (this message is also for your bozos in the Police Department) I'll haul your sorry butts into court to prove my point.

Tourists, beware!

San Francisco is rife with idiots and cops who don't know their asses from a hole in the ground.

Amen!

San Franciscans howling at the moon!
(a**holes)

P.S.
Should I have demanded all the vehicles on the block be dusted to twist the knife in?

Anonymous comments...cowards!

I always have a big laugh when some bozo attempts to pen a comment for publication on one of my posts - after some opinion or point of view - has gotten them all fired up.

Yeah, these folks have balls, alright!

People are so brave about speaking their mind when it's done anonymously!

Cowards!

In contrast, I stand by every post - and do so with my legal name and mug - alonside the commentary.

I have ethics, after all!

Have a nice day, fella.

P.S.
Slander is uttered up and does not pertain to the written word, fool!

San Francisco...meter maids have sh*t for brains! Harassment of tourists...

Meter maid in San Francisco a dumb fuc*!

Quite a few tourists were startled to return to their new vehicles and spot a parking ticket on their windshield this morning in San Francisco in view of the fact their meters were either paid up to the max or a disabled placard was posted visibly for any city official to spy.

Upon close scrutiny - after determing why the ticket was issued - the victims were mad as hell.

Obviously, the meter maid had sh** for brains, and was ignorant of the law.

In spite of the fact the subject vehicle(s) bore "dealer" plates - and there was a prominent temporary registration in the front windshield - the officer issued a citation!

What a useless worm!

On the tickets issued, the piece of ka ka's initials appear (T.C.) with Badge No. 0179, if you are one of those unfortunate individuals who crossed paths with this mean-spirited loser.

In California, T.C. - and other states around the country - a "dealer's plate" and temporary registration visibly affixed to the windshield - is acceptable under the law until the new plates arrive from the DMV!

In sum, the actions of the officer amount to harassment of innocent motorists, plain  and simple.

I trust the Mayor will investigate this matter, void the tickets in question, and put an end to this shocking stupidity designed to frauduently extort money from local residents and tourists alike!

San Francisco a sophisticated intelligent city?

Not on your life.

City of a**holes!

No, you can't ticket a cable car, dummy!

WordPress...adios! Rinky-dink blog site rife with glitches! Violates Free Speech! Manned by idiots with no class...

A tome written with WordPress gang of losers in mind!

For the past few months, I have been dickering about whether to continue posting my blog entries at the WordPress web pages, due to frustrating problems that hinder the authoring process at the rinky-dink blogger outfit.

For starters, there are quite a few glitches which make the posting of an article a very time-consuming frustrating proposition.

For example, on occasion when I attempt to transfer a post from another site to WordPress, right-off-the-bat, the article publishes willy-nilly about the page without any rhyme or reason.

When I attempt to tackle the problem - by painstakingly lining up images and paragraphs manually - the precise edits often do not take.

So, I am forced to start the editing process once again, with the hope that the post will eventually publish in a coherent professisonal manner.

On occasion, I have been forced to edit at least six times, without coming close to the end result I am trying to achieve, from an artistic standpoint.

In the final analysis, more often than not, I am forced to settle for less than perfect.

Conseqeuntly - I worry that my credibility (and reputaton) as a writer, blogger, and artist are at risk.

The experience is especially upsetting since the fault lies with WordPress's cheap under-developed software that literally blows!

To make matters worse, WordPress does not have spell check at the site, either.

Duh!

So, bloggers are forced to copy the post into a program like "word" - effect the changes when necessary - then, painstakingly transfer the material back to the edit bay at WordPress.

It is wholly conceivable at this juncture, that when the post is published, the material will scramble on the page (due to incompatability problems) - and thus - require another  fresh edit (or two or three or...).

Damn!

To review a post (when considering a potential edit for a myriad of legitimate reasons) the blogger is also forced to wait three or four minutes for the article to be dredged up (from God knows where) before the editing process can commence.

Again, a precious waste of man hours, for sure!

The automatic image and video clip installer often malfunctions, too, which means the photograph, drawing, or film clip must be diligently inserted by hand instead.

Nothwithstanding these glaring snafus, it should be noted for the record, that WordPress is assaulted daily by spam (which is annoying constant to deal with as well).

Although a blogger may install spam-blocker software for free - a multitude of comments and requests for legitimate links that I am anxious to receive - are scooped up and lumped in with the spam, too.

So, the glitch requires that I sift through all the data that has been blocked to ensure I don't miss a communication I may be interested in receiving (and/or posting) at the Pop Culture site I author.

For months, in spite of the frustrations, I hung in there because of my  loyal readers who apparently have gotten a tad addicted to my blog and its daily musings (judging by the traffic).

Then, another ugly problem reared its ugly head, which prompted me to call it quits.

In recent weeks, WordPress violated bloggers' rights to free speech - when they blocked the publishing of posts by a posse of intelligent upstarts (without legal notice or right to due process) whose opinions they disagreed with - until they managed to coerce the authors into penning the same kind of irrelvant old crap their nerdy (untalented) house-writers were inclined to vomit out daily ad nauseam

Well, that was the final straw, in my estimation.

I drive traffic to the WordPress site daily.

If those losers at that rinky-dink blog site think they're going  to censore me - or any of my post pals at the WordPress website - they are sorely mistaken.

In fact, at this point, they'd have to pay me big bucks to make any future creative contribution to their site - which essentially sucks big time - at this juncture.

So, Amigos - and die-hard fans at WordPress - take note.

If you want to peruse any of the scintillating new material, you'll have to cruise over to:

http://www.ijulian.blogspot.com/

or

http://www.julianayrs.com/

Of course, my articles are also posted daily at Zimbio (and promoted vigorously by the site owners), I am happy to report).

Yup!

Some folks recognize when they're blessed, unlike some other bozzos, who shall remain nameless for obvious reasons!

Deity WordPress gooks pay homage to daily!
