Billboard Music Awards...Selena Gomez & Taylor Swift fashion hits! Justin Bieber a lounge lizard!

Not to be outdone by their jaded older contemporaries - who tend to be fashion-wise and red carpet savvy - a rambunctious bevy of Pop stars trotted into the limelight at the Billboard Music Awards over the weekend bent on cutting a fine swath

As usual, there were a few stylish hits - Selena Gomex wowed, for instance -  but, more often than not - fashion vicitms stumbled into the glare of the spotlight.to make ghastly glitzy-looking fools of themselves.

Selena Gomex definitely stole the spotlight in a flattering black peek-a-boo cocktail dress (a creation by the house of Dolce & Gabbana) that some jealous old hags felt was a bit "too mature" for the innocent young teen to pull off.

Oh, pooh!

In contrast, the pretty beauty's steady boy-pal - Justin Bieber - splashed into the spotlight in a gold jacket and matching ensemble which screamed lounge lizard.

Was Justin taking a poke at Vegas crooners (his plight ten years down the road) or has his "mentor" (who shall remain nameless) been leading him down the ominous Sin City path?

 What did you think, Jay-Z?

In contrast, Keith Urban was so low-key (in a grey suit sans tie) that he bordered on boring.

Where was that tight perky ass that turns his fans on?

Meanwhile, dotting wife - Nicole Kidman - selected a floor-length gown which proved to be understated and elegant.

Tattler readers may recall that Ms. Kidman has made it on my Best Dressed Women's list in the past.

Kelly Rowland chose "revealing" and "sexy" as the tag words for her outfit and came out a winner.

One of the fashion disasters of the night was tossed on (literally) by a styless Ke$ha who was more of a bump-and-a-grind in the sparkly purple number she chose than a fashion plate
Fergie's structured Herve Leger dress left alot to be desired in these quarters.

At this juncture, iit's mportant to offer up a fashion memo.

Dress according to body-type!

This advice may go a long way with Taboo - who looked downright silly - in his Capri pants and leather vest.

Nicki Minaj's baby blue jumpsuit - carelessly sprinkled with cheap sequins here-and-there - was god-awful (to say the least).

Rihanna strutted the carpet in a white Max Azria suit which appeared stuffy on her somehow. The pop star is lacking in taste in the accessory department, too.

Beyonce chose basic black, which lacked pizazz, to moi!

Striking a romantic pose, Taylor Swift got nods fof approval from Fashionistas for her tasteful Elle Saab gown, which was highlighted by a "do" that resonated with the "look".

A true glam Queen, for sure.

Jake Hyllenhaal eat your heart out!

The rest of the attendees chewed up the carpet, but failed to score big time when it came to memorable moments at the Annual Billboard Music Awards, in 2011.

"Til next year!

Cannes Film Festival...Brad Pitt film wins Palme D'Or! Kirsten Dunst Best Actress!

In spite of the fact filmgoers booed the latest Brad Pitt flick ("The Tree of Life") at at screening at the Cannes Film Festival last week - the prestigious Festival honored the period drama - with the coveted Palm D'Or.

Although Mr. Pitt attended the exotic seaside celebration in Southern France, the elusive star was not in attendance when the heady news was announced Sunday afternoon.

The forty-something heartthrob jetted over off to Hollywood over the weekend to attend Angelina Jolie's Kung Fu Panda 2 premiere.

"Tree of Life" was directed by Terrence Malick - and also stars another Hollywood heavyweight - Sean Penn.

Kirsten Durst was a big winner, too, when she was named Best Actress.

Robert De Niro headed up the Cannes Film Festival selection jury this year, which also included two other high-profile stars - Uma Thurman and Jude Law - on the celebrated panel.

The Festival was not without controversy this year.

Director Lars von Trier was barred from Cannes Film Festival events on the heels of uttering of Nazi and Hitler comments which didn't sit well with guests of the annual event.

At another press conference for a documentary on the BP Oil crisis, Peter Fonda fessed up to media hounds present, that he fired off an e-mail to President Barack Obama this past week, in which he labelled the President a "fu**ing traitor".

Nevada State Attorney General...Catherine Cortez Masto corrupt! Conspiracy to protect rogue Highway Patrol!

Over the past few months an investigation of State Attorney General "Catherine Cortez Masto" has determined that Nevada's highly-placed State Official not only willfully and wrongfully refused to take appropriate action against rogue Nevada Highway Patrol Officers for engaging in illegal stops, harassment, and violating citizen's rights - but also - engaged in in a conspiracy to cover-up facts - with the ultimate aim of protecting dirty copst and mitigating liability for damages.

For example, readers at the Tattler may recall that I reported on a dirty Nevada Patrolman by the name of Del Padre (Batch # 691) who thumbed his nose at the letter of the law in July (2010) when he pulled over a  motorist willy-nilly at random (without provocation) and proceeded to abuse his power under the color of authority.

In the wake of the illegal stop, the Las Vegas tourist was bullied and harassed by the mean pig-headed Law Enforcement Officer, had his vehicile towed - and subsequently - was left stranded  at the sde of the road (and sufered injuries all to his damage).

Post:: 07/04/2011

http://ijulian.blogspot.com/2010/07/nevada-highway-patrolofficer-del-padre.html

When the motorist lodged a complaint with the Nevada Highway Patrol - Chief Tony Almaraz - he essentially got the run-around from Almaraz's Office and his staff who scrambled to engage in a cover-up to conceal the wrongdoing of their rogue Officer Patrolman Del Padrre.

http://ijulian.blogspot.com/2010/07/chief-tony-almarazdeceitful-illegal.html

In view of the aforementioned suspect conduct of - Chief Tony Almarez, Sergeant Charles Waycox, and Patrolman Del Padre - I filed a compalint wtih Catherine Cortez Masto at the State Attorney General's Office on the behalf of the aggrieved party.

The disresputable Attorney General responded with a curt letter in which she stated that her office would investigage the facts for appropriate action.

However, a short while later, it became evident to me that Catherine Cortez Masto was playing fast-and-loose with due process when she ultimately rejected the complaint on dubious grounds.

For instance, the State Attorney General alleged in a follow-up letter that because applicable State Laws had been amended in recent months, that an issue raised lacked merit now.

Did Ms. Masto think I was born yesterday?

Her response was a dishonest attempt to negate the validity of the complaint - and ultimately - deceitfully protect Nevada Highway Patrolmen from closer scrutiny, disciplinary action, and/or litigation in the Courts.

Obviously, my assumptions are correct, when you consider that the amendments Ms. Masto referred to were instituted "after" the incident on  I-15 Highway in downtown las Vegas on July 4th.

In fact, the amendments arose on the heels of the incident referred to, and were specifically implemented to combat the pending tort claim for damages about to be filed.

People are not stupid, Ms. Masto.

Obviously, the State Attorney General couldn't investigate her way out of a bag.

Did Masto even bother to give the complainant the due consideration they are entitled to by law?

Or, was the arrogant ne'er-to-well  just busy protecting her own butt, and those of her despicable cohorts at the Nevada Highway Patrol?

In addition, it should be noted for the record, that Ms. Masto proceeded to ignore (failed to address) the rest of the complaint issues (Officer misconduct, bullying, harassment, illegal search and seizure, Rights' Violations, etc.)

Notiwthstanding the foregoing, it should be noted that the State Attorney General posted a lengthy "Mission Statement" on the Government web site which amounts to a pack of lies and deception in the final analysis (and in view of my first-hand experiences with the State Attorney General).

MISSION STATEMENT

LEAD
Demonstrating Integrity

Understanding our obligations and honoring our commitments.

EXCELLENCE
Exceeding expectations

Exceeding the expectations of ourselves and others.

ACCOUNTABILITY
To ourselves and others

Responsible to ourselves and others for our actions.

DIVERSITY
Utilizing our source of strength

Utilizing our differences as a source of strength.

ENVIRONMENT
Encouraging openness and inclusiveness

Ensuring that the business of government is transparent and responsive to others.

RESPECT
Showing courtesy to ourselves and others

Showing and promoting courtesy to each other.

Attorney General Catherine Cortez Masto took the oath as Nevada’s Attorney General in January 2007.

A few short years later, Masto is a disgrace to her office, the State of Nevada, and public service.

Shame!

McDonald's...automated food servers! Cheap robot labor!

A few weeks ago, Tattler readers may recall that I was on the rag about the incompetence of employees - and their inability to communicate effectively with customers - the popular eatery.

Consumers who cruise into McDonald's daily have encountered a myriad of problems that range from troubling interactions with rude workers, communication difficulties that arise from the fact many employees don't speak fluent English, and cold tasteless meals that have been slapped togther without any concern for quality or customer satisfaction,

http://ijulian.blogspot.com/2011/04/mcdonaldshiring-rude-non-english.html

In response, McDonald's top brass at the executive offices announced over the past week, that the fast-food outlet is about to introduce a fully-automated facility which will not require any contact with McDonald's employees!

According to News reports overseas, McDonald’s will be supplying 7,000 European outlets with a swipe card and touchscreen facilities. The idea is to make ordering a McDonald’s quicker, easier and more efficient for the customer.

Some cynics argue that this is a sly way for McDonald's to rustle up more revenue in a short period.

In tandem with the overhaul at the cash register, McDonald's intends to build a database of the most popular take-out items.

Although the visionary corporation has stumbled on solutions to a couple of dilemmas - the need to lower the cost of labor and increase sales - another problem may rear its ugly head in the aftermath.

Is it possible to turn out thousands of tasty meals daily - with Robots at the helm - and still manage to satisfy customers with menu items that are fresh, tasty, and something to write home about?

News at 11!

Lady Gaga...shows tats on SNL & flair for comedy! Justin Timberlake comic timing!

When Lady GaGa sashayed on to the Saturday Night Live stage a few moments ago, outfitted as a bottle of wine in a hilarious supermarket sketch with Justin Timberlake playing a bottle of beer (Gosh, who writes this stuff, anyway?) it was obvious that the chanteuse's performance was not only pure Pop Diva - but something else - too.

Vintage!

Was the Queen of Pop poking fun at her own image?

The large cork on her head triggered a myriad of  hilarious punch lines in my mind, too.

Princess Beatrice eat your heart out!

In another skit - a spoof on a MTV-style music video - Lady GaGa took a wicked swipe at a bevy of Hollywood beauties and managed to expose the naughty underbelly of Hollywood, too.

In view of the fact media focus has been on a glut of infomercials clogging up the broadcast airwaves recently - the image of Suzanne Somers thrusting her sexy gams  skyward in a sleazy bedroom setting was bang on and resonated with a kernel of truth.

When it comes to social commentary, the Monster Queen is capable of hitting the bull's eye along with the best of 'em.

In a solo set, true to form, the songbird with the ruffled feathers did not disappoint fans when she strutted on stage in a black vinly outfit (oozing with a lot of sex appeal) teamed with knee-high boots and trended-setting streaked black "do".

A pie-wedge hat GaGa performed in at one point reminded me of a yummy dessert I hungrily gulped down at an upscale cafe at the St. Frnacis Hotel in San Francisco recently.

Delicious!

Surprisingly, Lady GaGa elected to flash a lot of boob, too.

Arnold Schwarzenegger must have been at home drooling in bed (among other things).

The male dancers got in on the act, too.

The talented back-up troupe dazzled in futuristic gladiator-style garb.

The hard rocking dudes gave Madonna's studs a run for their money, alright.

In sum, Lady GaGa made a startling breakthrough tonight - and at the same time - demonstraed a zany flair for comedy tonight.

Ms. GaGa's creative well, obviously, runs deep!

I expect fans and curiosity-seekers will be tuning in to Good Morning America next week to catch her live concert in Central Park.

See 'ya there!

Ryan Seacrest...takes poke @ TMZ's Harvey Levin! Meow!

When the roving snoops at MTZ ambushed Ryan Seacrest outside of a trendy watering hole in Hollywood this past week, the gossip monger got more than he bargained for.

For example, in response to the encounter, the high-profile Disc Jockey (MySpace friend) proceeded to take a jab at TMZ 's Harvey Levin (King of Gossip) out-of-the-blue.

After determining that Seacrest was a fan of Three's Company, the sexy bachelor was asked if he thought Levin bore any resemblance to Mr. Roper (a character on the long-running hit TV sitcom).

Ryan half-turned, eyed the TMZ paparazzi up-and-down, and quipped - "about this much" - as he deftly used a hand gesture to infer that Levin was half his size in stature.(short!).

When the camera flared back up on the kids in the studio, one of the young tongue waggers appeared to be taken aback by the obvious put-down.

"I thought Ryan was your buddy" he quipped.

"He is," Levin shot back, with a perplexed look on his face.

That's show biz, I guess.

Meow!
