Levi Johnston...Bristol Palin to wed! Sarah's Presidential bid...

And, baby makes three!

Levi needs re-programming!

A couple of tabloid news shows had a field day last night - speculating on this 'n that - on the heels of an announcement that Levi Johnston and Bristol Palin are reuniting as lovebirds.

In fact, one insider hinted that wedding bells were about to ring out in the Great White North!

Just a short while ago (in-between stripping down to his skivvies and conducting sly cat-and-mouse interviews with trendy rags for the check-out counter at groceries around the country) Johnston was at the Tea Party Queen's throat going for the jugular.

Why the sudden change of - um - heart?

One pundit's assessment was hilarious.

"Levi is sort-of-a - "Jason Bourne" character - a loose cannon about to go off. He needed to be brought in and fully re-programmed for the next phase of the Sarah Palin agenda."

What might that be, pray tell?

A run for the Presidency, natch!

Maybe, Bristol's recenthigh-profile appearance on a popular reality soap, triggered thoughts of following in her pampered foot-steps by virtue of an in-between-the-sheets co-habitation?

Or, just maybe, Levi pined to be to the manor born when he caught site of Bristol's comfy new digs?

Except for his teen sweetheart, there haven't been many prospects for the plotting Lothario, except for a handful of offers from gay magazines - and horny dudes - anxious to get into his scandalous pants.

Some hint that he's been paid off to toe the Palin line.

Inquiring minds want to know!

News at 11.

For her sake, hope he's got a big one!

Punch but no panache!

Jerry Brown...announces bid for Governor! "You the people" listen up...

Mad as Hell
(not taking it anymore)

Nobody's muscling in on my territory!

Jerry Brown called for smaller government and more clout for local officials in the decision-making process, when he announced his bid for Governor in the upcoming elections, Tuesday.

During the press junket, Brown - who was California's Governor for eight years (1975-1983) - took an obvious slap at Governor Schwarzenegger which appeared to resonate with supporters.

"Some people say that if you've been around the process, you can't handle the job, that we need to go out and find an outsider who knows virtually nothing about State government."

Enter the barbarian.

Brown - a once-handsome charismatic politician with a full-head of lustrous hair - couldn't resist a pointed quip in the aftermath of his attack.

"Well, we tried that, and it doesn't work. We found that out, that not knowing, is not good."

In a video online at his website, Brown asserted that he was the best candidate for big honcho, in so many carefully-chosen words.

"Our State is in serious trouble and the next Governor must have the preparation and the knowledge and the know-how to get California working again."

In sum, that was Brown's platform for political success.

"That's what I offer."

There were campaign promises, too.

"In this time of recession, there will be no new taxes, unless you the people vote for them."

You the people?

Ah, that has a catchy ring to it.

Jerry, you (the politician) may have something there!

Barack Obama...double talk signals Hillary out of "VP" loop!

Barack, full of hot air lately...

In a sly effort to appease a handful of potential donors, Barack has been engaging in a little "double-talk" lately.

For instance, in a conversation with a Hillary Clinton supporter in recent days, the Senator skillfully maneuvered his way through a couple of land mines in a bold-faced effort to avoid "tipping" his hand in respect to the Clinton "running-mate" issue.

In my estimation, it was a deceitful ploy to string the woman along (Jill Iscol, a Hillary supporter) without ruffling any feathers or negating opportunities for cash hand-outs in the future.

All you have to do is read between the lines and the truth becomes evident!

Although he told the potential donor that Hillary was on his "list", he added that the situation with her hubby, Bill, was - er - "complicated".

After all, he opined philosophically,

"Once you're a president, even if you're a former president, you're always a president."

Or to quote Gertrude Stein,

"A rose is a rose is a rose."

Eh?

While Obama assured Ms. Iscol that Bill wouldn't be a "disqualifying" factor, he did wonder aloud if a second "spouse" would make the White House a little crowded.

Fine, if you're into three-ways, I guess!

According to his terminology, he's grappling with the issues, in spite of the fact it's a "no-brainer".

This leads me to believe he'll let the whole scenario play out as long as it is to his advantage, then dump Hillary.

All is fair in love and politics, right?
