Backstreet Boys & New Kids on the Block...gig @ Mandalay Bay July 3rd! Tickets pricey!

One newsie at a local media outlet was crying the blues over the fact tickets for the much-ballyhooed "Backstreet Boys / New Kids on the Block" concert at Mandalay Bay were too pricey for her budget.

Notwithstanding, it is expected that the high-profile gig will sell-out, no matter what the cost of admission.

After all, quite a few nostalgia buffs - fans of both popular boy-bands, too - have been chopping-at-the-bit to get-down-and-dirty and par-tay to the beat of the sizzling hot danceable tunes that once held 'em in sway a scant decade or so ago on the dizzying pop charts.

Real die-hard boy-toy aficionados will also be springing big bucks to attend the Official after-party which kicks-off at trendy chic Chateau on the heels of what is expected to be a dynamite memorable stage performance (Paris Hotel).

See 'ya there - if I decide to cough up the big bucks - that is!

Justin Bieber...victim of celebrity injustice? Teen idol accused of assault!

The face of a bully?

Darned if 'ya do and darned if 'ya don't.

Although celebrities often mix-and-mingle - in a down-to-earth fashion with non-celebrities to establish they're just "common folk" like you and me (without any ego problems) - on occasion it is the wrong approach to take.

After all, there will always be some enterprising individual out to capitalize on the situation in the overall scheme of things.

The Justin Bieber "incident" - now playing out on the airwaves - is a prime example of celebrity stalking for personal (and/or) professional gain.

Allegedly, during a laser tag game with a couple of rowdy twelve-year-olds - there was some body "contact" which triggered accusations that Bieber engaged in foul-play (assault) - which has resulted in an investigation by the Canadian Police force.

Bieber hails from Stratford-on-Avon, and recently turned home to visit family and friends on break from tour, which accounts for the scuffle being investigated by Canuck Law Enforcement.

Fortunately, the "Bieb's" teammates stepped forward and testified to officials that the Pop Idol was apparently the  victim that was targetted when the ugly incident went down.

According to insiders, Justin was - not only harassed by the boisterous boys - but called a "homo".

Justin' dad attempted to intervene - and essentially call it a day - but the parent of one of the other lads was reluctant to let it go.

As it turns out, the father - in question - is an attorney.

So, of course, he seized on the moment to take advantage of the situation.

No doubt the sleaze-bag ambulance-chaser saw "dollar signs" from the get-go - and so - was prompted to take further action with the aim of securing a financial settlement (and alot of bad publicity for the young star) somewhere along the slippery slope.

At press time, Officials were investigating the details, but - as of this hour - no charges have been brought.

"The boy sustained minimal injuries and did not require medical attention," one of the men-in-red  confided, somewhat suspicously.

Uh-huh!

Sounds like a shake-down to me!

Justin Bieber...5 action dolls! Featuring hits "Baby!" & "One Less Lonely!"

Bodacious Bieber Bookends!

Pop flavor of the month - Justin Bieber - will be immortalized come December when a retailer releases 5 action dolls in his appealing likeness replete with requisite mop cut!

Each adorable plaything will be outfitted in a stylish wardrobe ensemble suited to the specific image Justin is projecting in each model.

For instance - his closet (!) will boast stylish threads suited for occasions when he's "chillin'" (hanging out in the hood) with best buds - or sensually gyrating to the catchy strains of hits like "Baby" on the frenzied world stage during a high-energy live! concert with his talented back-up dancers.

Prices range from $17.99 to $27.99 depending on the model.

The lower-priced doll is obviously going to be a "no frills" down-to-earth version of the chart-topper in hoodie, gap jeans, and black high-top sneakers.

In contrast, the stylish Justin look-a-like (to scale), will probably spotlight the heartthrob in a butter-soft leather jacket, tight-fitting black designer jeans, and jazzed up all-star celebrity boots.

A masculine-looking overnight  kit - stocked with teeth whitener, hair fixative, a package of chic condoms (XL), and a travel-size tube of lube - is bound to trigger sales if Bieber's lone image hasn't achieved that in the end of its own accord.

The Bieber "Barbies" are due out on select shelves shortly after Thanksgiving.

Oh, Baby!

Cheeky devil!

Elvis Presley...fans swarm to Graceland to mourn King!

The original Americn Idol!

Graceland!

A solemn procession of fans zig-zagged down the street, soft etheric light flickered from mood-enhancing candles casting shadows that played with the imagination, and strains of nostalgic Elvis Presley hits fluttered about soulfully this way 'n that.

Ah-ha!

The date marking the calendar (August 16th) is the 33rd Anniversary of the King's death and the fans haven't forgotten.

In fact, thousands upon thousands of El fans descended on Graceland from around the planet to put in a show at the annual candlelight vigil which attracted respectful mourners expected to hang-out overnight 'til the wee hours of the morning.

Some probably sadly shook their heads as they shuffled along to his resting place.

After all, the Pop crooner - who started out recording simple straight-forward tunes at Sun Records way-back-when - passed to spirit at such a young age (42).

Die-hard followers were inclined to play their favorite El tunes as they waited patiently for their chance to say a prayer or pay their respects in front of his decorative gravestone.

The procession toppe off (and officially closed out) a festive week of entertaining events such as feature film screenings, Elvis sightings, tribute competitions, and on-going upbeat dialogues about all-things Elvis Presley at fan club meetings.

This year, the Elvis event boasted insightful conversations  with writers, photographers and close friends of Elvis.

For example, Joe Esposito (a member of El's entourage also-known-as the Memphis Mafia) was on hand to the delight of those in attendance.

Fans from as far away as Japan and England browsed Graceland's sprawling souvenir shopping center and gathered under a large tent across the street from the mansion to listen to performers belt out Elvis tunes.

One fan's comments best expressed the feelings of many.

"Elvis has touched a lot of hearts, and there's something spiritual about him."

Amen!

Justin Bieber...foul-mouthed kid! Will success spoil the DIVA?

Bieber with locks shorn!

According to a popular Australian Entertainment Show, sexy Pop Idol Justin Bieber is turning into a prima donna.

During a break on stage, allegedly a handler instructed Bieber to move to a different position  - and in the process - innocently touched the handsome chart-topper  ever-so-slightly,

Bieber allegedly got angry and snarled at the crew member not to do that ever again.

"Backstage his language was shocking. I don't think I've ever encountered such a foul-mouthed kid," a representative of the show hissed in an interview later in the day once the dust had settled.

On the heels of  the broadcast, Justin Bieber stated for the record that the allegations were definitely not true.

The "Diva Watch" is in full-swing - nonetheless -at the Tattler.

Justin Bieber...butches up act on Jay Leno!

Was Justin Bieber intentionally transforming his squeaky-clean image, right before our very eyes on the Jay Leno show last night?

From this perch, it appeared that the teen sensation was trying to butch up his act.

When he strode up to take a seat next to Jay shortly after dancing up a storm to the beat of his new hit single, he revealed a cocky side, when he plunked down on the couch and tossed one foot up on the coffee table.

I sensed that the lack of manners, though a show of sudden butchness, may have ticked Leno off.

But, not one to turn his back on  a meal ticket, the congenial host proceeded to ignore the rude conduct.

Then, the young Canadian upstart surprised us all when he noted - with a straight face - that if he wasn't a performer he'd like to be mechanic.

Now, baby-faced Bieber was swaggering into sure-fire studly territory

Perhaps it was Justin's knee-jerk reaction to  a hilarious segment on TMZ last night which turned the spotlight on a web site that pays tribute to young lesbian women who are the spitting image of the pop idol.
The novel social hub features candid shots of lesbian women outfitted in tight t-shirts, straight-legged designer jeans, and requisite page boy "do".

The web page is known for loving beaver - um - Bieber.

Chaz Bono eat your heart out!

The tom-boy look is all the rage among nubile lesbos, after all.

I wonder, do they strap their breasts down tight, or were the gals just flat-chested (like Justin) to begin with?

Bieber is basking in the glow of the phenomenal success of his new release My World 2.0.

It roared to the top of the charts after rustling up 230,000 sales.

The popular musical whiz is the youngest male solo artist to chart since Stevie Wonder in 1963.

The night before, Bieber put in an appearance on American Idol with image-maker USHER in tow.

"If you were a contestant on the show, could you handle Simon Cowell," Jay quizzed.

He laughed out loud and shook his head (in disgust?).

Piece of cake, obviously.

Bieber took everyone by surprise this week, when he bought out an established show-biz web site, lock stock and barrel.

The site - Bieber or Die - features a multitude of publicity stills of the pop singer.

And, some hilarious comedy sketches.

For instance, in one video he spouts off into the camera that a trendy nightclub turfed him out for being underage.

"So, I bought the place. Turned it into a Chuck E. Cheese," he laughed hysterically into camera.

"I swim after I eat, too. I don't care," he mugged to the camera with an adorable pouty grin on his mug.

At this juncture, he jumped on his bicycle, and quipped to a pal.

"Let's go get a lollipop!"

Actually, he probably roared off in his new Range Rover.

Will success spoil Justin Bieber?

Rod Stewart...blows off fan!

Do 'ya think I'm sexy?

Flipping the dial on the radio this morning in early-morning traffic, I stumbled across "Monique" & "The Man" chit-chatting on FM Radio, at Jack 10.07.

According to the "Dude", a Rod Stewart fan sashayed up to the Pop Vocalist as he sauntered out of a trendy watering hole last night (?) pining for a signature on a CD set.

"She was pretty. About fortyish," he quipped.

"You know what his fans are like."

Yup.

Stacked. Stretched into a leopard-skin cocktail dress, perhaps. With a mane of luscious lustrous locks, framing a come hither look. And, intoxicating perfume, sure to charm the jeans off of any stud.

Allegedly, Rod strode by. Blew her off!

Mr. Stewart, if it weren't for fans like that young lady - who thought you were "sexy", no doubt - you'd be just another has-been pop star with big hair and an ego the size of a flaccid di**.

As Don Williams, Jr. once said,

"Fame and riches are fleeting. Stupidity is eternal."
