NCO Financial Services...threatens & harasses debtors! Violates Fair Credit Reporting Act!

If you've been having a tough time in the current economy and having trouble making monthly paymentx on a bill - or got a little sloppy on the I-15 Highway in downtown Las Vegas and landed a moving violation - chances are you are quite familiar with a company by the ominous name of NCO Financial Services.

After all, NCO is one of the largest debt collectors in the country, which is making quite a name for itself in the courts and in the criminal complaint departments at local Police Stations, the FBI, and the U.S. Department of Justice.

For good reason.

In the past, the Federal Trade Commission fined NCO and its agent, s upwards of 1.5 million dollars in statutory penalties for Violating Consumer Rights and for willfully and wrongfully refusing to abide by State and Federal Laws pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act.

You name it!

However, those paltry penalties have not instilled any fear of the law in the criminals who run NCO.

No, Sir!

At press time, NCO was still committing shocking crimes against consumers, and thumbing their noses at the FTC and the U.S. Government.

For example, debtors have complained to various Government and Consumer Protection Agencies that NCO employees have called their homes, offices, and cell phone numbers in excess of ten times daily!

The Fair Credit Reporting Act (Consumer Bill of Rights) stipulates that debt collectors are legally barred from making more than 1 call per day.

In addition, NCO employees have hurled slurs at debtors, threatened bodily harm, and tried to coerce indivdiuals into paying excessive sums (penalties, illegal surcharges, and outrageous interest fees) under threat of prosecution.

The NCO employee harassment did not end there, however.

On many occasions, Managers at NCO hid their true identities when calling up debtors - in addition to impersonating individuals allegedly working for law enforcement, the telephone company, financial institutions, and so-forth-and-so-on – in a deceitful underhanded ploy to coerce payments and glean information about their clients by illegal means which were in direction violation of the individuals’ rights pursuant to the Fair Credit Reporting Act, the Bill of Rights, and the U.S. Constitution.

In addition, NCO employees contacted third parties (employers) and made false statements about their clients in a bold-faced effort to damage the names and reputations of the debtors in question.

Currently, there is a class-action suit being lodged against NCO on behalf of the injured parties, which is expected to move forward in the Federal Court of Jurisdiction in the near future.

Consumers so situated are urged to lodge formal complaints against NCO with the Federal Trade Commission (where applicable), the Better Business Bureau, the U.S. Department of Justice, and the FBI criminal complaint division to deter such heinous conduct in the future.

Gold Spike...impotent Security Guard Brian Wills harasses Guests! Weasel lies to protect self!

Spike got a "face-lift" but ironically toilets still clog with shit!
(curb appeal on the cheap! cheap! cheap!)

Today, an impotent security guard - in a rinky-dink money suit - stepped into a heap-load of sh** when he harassed and discriminated against a guest in the Gold Spike Hotel in Las Vegas.

You know the type - a pig-headed loser who couldn't make the Police force dons a uniform with a gun packed in the holster to bolster his manhood - then proceeds to strut around like he has a big-swinging dick and the right to abuse the power vested in him by dim-witted Management at the Hotel who don't have a clue about the potenital liability of having a yahoo on the payroll.

A case in point.

Shortly after a guest exited the lobby for a jaunt over to the pool for a late-afternoon dip, a security guard by the name of - Brian Wills - stepped out of some bushes (!!!) and - in a threatening mean-spirited way - barked at the paying guest that he "couldn't go back there" (to the pool area).

Why, pray tell?

The lughead, with all the personality of a worm, didn't cite any reason - which infers from the get-go - that the Officer was openly discriminating on a whim.

Assholes, tend to do that, 'ya know?

Just maybe, he was jealous of the guest's cool shades?

Because the guest's lodging fees included use of the pool, Brian Wills' attempt to turn-back the individual, amounted to a denial of their right to access and privileges promised by the owners and management of the hotel when the room was booked (and paid for in full).

When the guest (aware that the Security Guard suffered from a low IQ) noticed that Wills was prone to over-step his bounds - and act out-of-line - he proceeded to politely inform the security guard that he was a registered guest at the Hotel.

The guard, realizing his fatal mistake, did a double-take in shock.

Ooops!

But, instead of taking the guest at his word (hadn't he eaten enough crow already?), he rudely demanded that the well-known celebrity guest show his key.

But, get this, the shocking misconduct persisted.

Instead of accepting the key as proof positive, he angrily asked for the suite number, after-the-fact.

Once again, the guest was able to provide the information at lightning speed - which would have satisfied any secruity guard - with an ounce of intelligence.

But the stupidity continued, when the slack-jawed bozo demanded the guest's name, too!

All efforts to block the guest's right to enter were snuffed out in one fell swoop by the intelligent, quick-thinking of the insightful guest - who had his number, just betcha - since the first moment the trigger-happy psycho's sorry carcass strolled onto the terrain.

But, the drama was far from over, as the wounded security guard emotionally-charged-up with anger and retaliatory thoughts swimming inside his ugly head, plottted to win at all cost to save face.

For instance, shortly after the guest arrived at the bar at the rear of the pool area, the security guard - who now appeared to be stalking him - appeared from behind and shouted in a loud voice so the poolside revellers  in the immediate vicinity could hear:

"You've got shit on the back of  your pants. You have to go clean up."

Talk about rude and insulting.

If you ask me, the security guard's defamatory remarks, are sufficient grounds for compensatory and punitive damages in a local Civil Court.

That's what happens when a Hotel hires a piece of white trash without one well-mannered, educated, or classy bone, in their entire fat frame.

Notwithstanding, some of bizarre conduct, begs an obvious question.

Why was Brian Wills checking out the guest's ass?

Secondly, the allegation was ridiculous.

The fashion-savvy guest was wearing acid-dyed jeans - a fabric design idea - that often creates "patches" of discoloration on the surface (and even the interior) of the garment.

What an idiot!

I expect he wears fruit-of-the-lumes with urine stains on the crotch!

The wild accusation was just an outrageous shoddy ploy to embarrass and humiliate the guest in front of a patio packed with revellers who were now gazing on in shock and disbelief.

At this point, Wills had the audacity to shout at the guest:

"Go get yourself cleaned up or change your pants."

In view of the fact other guests were in - shorts, flimsy-bikini-briefs, and an odd-assortment of fashions current and out-of-favor- the notion that the guest should change his pants for a security guard who didn't know his ass from a hole in the ground was an absurd notion.

Because the allegations were confusing - and bizarre - the guest went up to their room to take a backward's glance at the "ass" of the slacks in the mirror to fathom what the fuss was all about.

Nothing out of the unusual.

As aforementioned, some blotched areas - on the jeans when they were originally purchased - were subtly noticeable as usual.

At this juncture, the guest tried an experiment.

He splashed water on the area the guard complained about - but, no sir - the patters ingrained in the jeans were not about to "wash out" so easily.

The guest proceeded to Video-tape the jeans so there would be evidence to support his claims in the event a lawsuit is filed for damages.

So there, Wills!

Obviously, the demented guard - with poor sight, perhaps? - jumped-the-gun and came to the wrong conclusion.

Or, was he just desperately trying to find an excuse, in a deceitful effort to try to substantiate his outrageous conduct - and ultimately - "weasle" out of his gross error in judgment?

When the guest stopped down at the front desk to file a complaint with the Supervisor, the rogue Security Guard trotted up - got in the victim's face - and tried to bully him further.

In no uncertain terms, the guest reiterated in front of witnesses standing in the lobby, that Officer Brian Wills decided at first glance that the guest "did not belong" there and - contrary to the guard's false statements - tried to deny him access "because he had the authority" (but no legitimate cause) to do so.

The officer engaged in the discriminatory conduct before he even "checked-out" the guest's ass.

A pretty, firm one, if 'ya ask moi!

Maybe the guest should file a formal complaint for sexual harrassment and stalking against that security guard?

After all, judging by what I witnessed, that Brian Wills is a perverted demented piece of work.

At this point, the supervisor instructed Mr. Wills to back off, so he could have a meaningful discussion about the disturbing incident without interruption, in order to properly address the sick behaviour of the security guard who obviously needs therapy.

Frankly, in my estimation, Brian Wills poses a threat to the guests and the casino-going throngs as well who frequent the Spike.

"Rotundo" (the guard in charge that evening) apologized - extended his hand - and tried to calm the waters.

However, it was pretty obvious that he was anxious for the incident to go no farther.

Golly, wonder why?

Unfortunately for the guard, the guest requested a complaint form so that a full investigation could be pursued with vigor.

Officer Brian Wills, after all, demonstrated today that he lacks sound judgment, abuses his power, openly provokes and harasses hotel guests without povocation at whim, and - in the final analysis - has a sick  meanstreak that not only makes him unfit for the job but in emergency need of psychological counselling.

He's a loose cannon about to go off!

Personally, I was flabberghasted by what went down, especially in view of the fact the individual in question was a well-known celebrity around the globe!

Does Brian Wills have his head so far up his sloppy butt-hole, that he doesn't know what's going on in celebrity-filled Vegas on a daily basis all around him?

Las Vegas residents and businesses have been moaning and groaning about a lack of business in recent days.

No wonder, Brian Wills and his merry gang of thugs are scaring them all away.

A pleasant-young desk clerk (by the name of "Tara") - who expressed dismay and sorrow over the unfortunate incident - assured the guest that if he dropped by the office the following morning that the Hotel Manager would not only lend a sympathetic ear - but also - take swift appropriate action against Brian Wills for his misconduct, wrongful discriminatory acts, and open harassment of the guest in Violation of his rights.

Ironically, just this morning, I posted a glowing review of the Spike Hotel, encouraging guests to book into this boutique-style gem.

http://ijulian.blogspot.com/2010/07/gold-spikevegas-update-affordable.html

Now, I have to take pause to consider one glaring truth.

Until Officer Brian Wills is removed from Security Guard detail at the Spike Hotel, perhaps guests intending to book a room in the near future, should move on to lodging where security guards have taken an oath to protect and keep safe guests and not discriminate, harass, and violate their rights as Officer Brian Wills is inclined to do.

Nevada Highway Patrol...Officer Del Padre (Badge # 691) harrasses tourists! Violates applicable Laws & motorist rights!

Not!

Public harassment is more like it, Officer!

Today, with evidence in hand, I have determined that the Nevada Highway Patrol - and Officer Del Padre (Badge # 691) in particular - harass out-of-state motorists, Violate their rights, and willfully and wrongfully ignore State & Federal Laws.

For example, a resident from another state was pulled over by Officer Del Padre, in spite of the fact there was a dealer plate on the reverse of the car and a registration affixed to the front windshield as required by law.

Until the issue of "new plates" and "registration" are resolved with the originating State's DMV, this is acceptable legal practice across the country.

When the motorist was chased down, and pulled over - resulting in considerable stress and anxiety to the hapless driver in the interim - the Officer strode up to the car and demanded the registration.

Obviously, the Officer was blind as a bat!

He failed to notice the registration (or chose not to?) in the front window - hence - the illegal pull-over in Violation of the motorists rights and applicable State & Federal Laws.

In addition, officer Del Padre engaged in some suspicious bizarre behaviour.

When the motorist pointed out that the registration was in the front window - instead of reading the information from that location - he barked at the driver to remove the paperwork (which was taped by the car dealership to the inside of the windshield at date of purchase pending registraton) or else he would tear it off himself.

Why was he so testy?

The motorist proceeded to remove the registration at the Officer's direction (which was highly improper under the circumstances).

I surmise that the officer in question realized he made a boo-boo and was maneuvering to rid the vehicle of the legal pending registration notice in the window so he could be held blameless.

The truth of the matter is, the Nevada Highway Patrol Officer disobeyed the law, harassed the motorist - and in the process - violated his rights.

In spite of the fact the tourist provided documentation from the DMV - one piece of correspondence from the headquarters of the DMV in Sacramento clarifying the issues - the Officer proceeded to call a tow truck to haul the vehicle to an impound.

Leaving a handicapped motorist on medications on the side of the highway without their vehicle to return home in is not only - shocking disgusting conduct unbefitting a Law Enforcement Officer - but a heinous violation of citizen and motorists rights that cries out for justice.

On behalf of the victim, I hereby urge the Nevada State Patrol to release the vehicle - in view of the paperwork presented the officer in question earlier in the day - issue an apology - and proceed with disciplinary action against Nevada Patrol Officer Del Padre (Badge # 691).

I intend to file a former complaint on the individual's behalf with the Governor, the State Attorney General, and the Department of Justice.

I trust my readers (and others stumbling on this post) will agree with my conclusion that such an Officer is not fit (mentally, morally, or emotionally) to serve his city, state, or country.

Walmart...security guard harasses customers in parking lot @ Nellis location! Las Vegas turn-off...

Customers were somewhat annoyed this afternoon when they stepped out of Walmart after a bout grocery shopping, and encountered an overjealous security guard buzzing around the parking lot as if he was in hot pursuit of America's most wanted.

As harried patrons attempted to maneuver their bags into their vehicles - and likewise - effect a quick exit out of the scorging  heat wave that descended on the desert oasis in recent days - the gung-ho dude in the monkey suit - proceeded to give them the hairy eye-ball (during short quick drive-bys non-stop) which ultimately made them feel like hunted criminals.

What a slap in the face when you consider the shoppers just spent a bundle of hard-earned cash at the retail giant's Nellis location in North Las Vegas.

The guard in question was either balmy from being in the sun too long, or just maybe, has an IQ of about 2 and sh** for brains.

I expect the former applies in this instant situation.

Surely, Walmart can afford to hire quality staff with an ounce of intelligence and sound judgment instead of the bozo who imagines he has a big swinging dick between his legs (and a gun to back it up) which entitles him to bully innocent shoppers.

Shame on Walmart!

Pavillions...security guards harass shoppers! Management looks other way...

Goofy irresponsible Management spoils shopping experience!
(WeHo)

Thursday night customers at Pavillions in WeHo were a tad miffed when a security guard strode up to the cozy Starbucks cafe and instructed the handful of regulars sipping on tasty beverages and engaging in a bit of upbeat chatter that the section was being shut-down.

Huh?

The hands on the plain modern clock on the wall confirmed that it was just shy of  9 p.m. on a Thursday night in the heart of gay gulch.

Right off-the-bat, a couple of die-hard social butterflies hauled a couple of straight-back chairs to the other side of the partition, plunked themselves down, and carried on in spite of the nasty impolite intrusion.

"Heh," yelled out the surly African-American guard, "put those chairs back."

One elderly gent piped up in a knee-jerk sort-of reaction.

"We'll just wait here until the cleaning crew finish up," he huffed at the Pavillions staffer.

At this point, the big lug was quick on the uptake, too.

"I'm shutting this section down for the night," he snarled back.

A disgruntled local resident asked to speak to the manager.

"I don't need to get a manager, 'cause I know who I am," he hollered back as he glared down his nose and snickered under his breath.

Huh?

What does "knowing who you are" have to do with a request to rustle up the store manager?

Something was amiss!

This a**hole's attitude, for starters.

I wasn't surprised by what went down, though.

In the past few weeks I reported on a handful of African-American security guards abusing their authority at the same Pavillions.

For instance, I witnessed a couple of racist guards follow white folks around the store - and on a few occasions - harass and intimidate them without provocation.

Although loyal customers have complained about these individuals, management has not taken any action - in fact, in some cases - hasn't even bothered to respond (in spite of the fact pamphlets at the cashier encourage consumers to lodge their opinions on service and quality with the understanding their voice(s) will be heard).

It's all for show, eh?

Shortly after my post was published on the Internet, and the security guards recognized me later when I was shopping in the store, they began to whisper amongst themselves (and point me out to fellow employees).

Now, they give me the old hairy eye-ball everytime I saunter into the store.

'Ya know, I've been shopping at this location for twenty years, and I don't intend to let a gang of thugs intimidate me or try to discourage me from shopping there if I so choose.

When you consider these bullies are outsiders who come into the neighborhood daily to work - then shuffle off at the end of the shift to some hellhole in another part of town - it's downright annoying.

An ill-mannered uneducated ruffian with no class - though attired in a well-pressed dark monkey suit provided by the security company - is still a low-life ruffian (no matter how you cut it).

I generally just breeze in, purchase a handful of items, then pay at the automated cashier.

Subsequently, I have as little contact as possible with these unsophisticated losers.

A scripture says it succinctly:

Never throw pearls before swine.

Amen!

San Francisco...racist security guard @ Burger King harasses customers!

Racist African-American guards at Burger King!

I always thought that San Francisco was a sophisticated city, brimming with intelligence, until this morning!

Up and about early, I popped into Burger King at Hyde & Market Streets, for a quick snack to energize me.

Shortly after I began munching on my chow, I whipped out my laptop to check for e-mail.

Imagine that!

A short fat African-American security guard - ugly as sin - strolled up and scolded me for keying in data on my PC.

"You're supposed to be eating food," he snarled at me.

Yes, I expect the lame-brain was blind, too; otherwise, he would have noticed the wrappings for my burger, fries, and cup for my beverage inches away from the end of his snotty nose!

Once again, a racist African-American (with an obvious grudge) attempted to push around a white dude, thinking he would put up with his bullsh**.

Wrong!

But, get this.

When I complained to the Manager on duty, and she called him up on the inappropriate behaviour, he denied it.

Duh!

About a dozen customers were witness to the shocking conduct!

Obviously, he doesn't have a brain either, or he would have fessed up (and apologized).

You can't teach an old dog new tricks, so I expect that when his boss's back is turned, he'll be at it again.

So, it may be wise to cross the street, and patronize McDonald's.

By the way, they have wireless access there, too!

West Hollywood Sheriff...has sh** for brains! Needlessly harasses resident abiding by the letter of law...

You'd think that with all the brouhaha raging in recent days over the racist incident which stirred up a Hornet's nest of trouble back east (even forcing the Prez to eat crow with the best of 'em) that Law Enforcement would sit up and take notice - even lay low a tad for a few scant weeks - until the pig stink passed over.

Nope!

Yesterday morning a friend of mine pulled into a local coffee shop, and was barely inside ordering up a steaming cup of Java, when one of West Hollywood's dumbest officers was all over his vehicle like a fly on sh**.

The jar heads just don't get it, do they?

Turns out the copper in question (who harassed my pal needlessly at the crack of dawn at 5 in the a.m.) must have been a rookie - either that - or he was just a low-life wannabee who scammed his way onto the force by having some wise-guy take the GED on the sly on his behalf so he could meet the general requirements for gainful grunt employment at the WeHo Sheriff's Department.

Judging by his inappropriate conduct, the low-level law enforcement officer obviously doesn't have any reasoning powers to speak of.

In the final analysis - quite frankly - he has sh** for brains.

For example, as my friend waited for his morning pick-me-up at the take-out counter, he half-turned and spied the officer stop on a dime in front of his relatively-new vehicle - and quite literally - shake his head from side-to-side as he gazed at the front end.

Duh!

Was he on drugs, my pal wondered to himself.

Or, maybe he was suffering from a severe case of sugar hangover after scoffing down a-dozen-or-so doughnuts with sprinkles on top, as he twiddled his thumbs on "fag" duty on La Jolla Avenue the night before in ever-cruisy WeHo?

After all, my friend's newly-purchased SUV was street legal, and shouldn't have aroused any suspicion.

A second later, the pudgy dough boy gave my buddy a quizzical grin - then pointedly directed a question in his direction.

"Have you ever been stopped for not displaying a second plate upfront?"

Duh!

If the dim-witted lug head possessed a modicum of intelligence - or been on-the-ball at least - maybe he would have been inclined to scan the windshield for at least one little clue before barging into the doughnut shop and making an utter fool of himself in front of a half-a-dozen-or so witnesses wired up on their morning caffeine!

Elementary, dear Watson.

Moreover, if the "temporary registration" posted in plain view on the windshield (legally-required by the DMV) was not enough to jar his grey matter - perchance - a stroll to the rear of the vehicle and a subsequent visual check for a dealer's plate on the bumper (lo & behold) may have brought his exhausting full-scale investigation of the "Case of the Missing Plate" to a swift and logical conclusion.

Unfortunately, the little fascist pig was such a lazy son-of-a-gun - quick to point an accusing finger - that his shortcomings (speaking of which - I trust for his sake - that his di** is bigger than his brain) got the best of him.

When my friend casually informed him about the recent purchase of the vehicle, and noted there was a dealer's plate attached at the rear end, it was evident from the way his jaw dropped and his eyes glazed over, that he was painfully aware that he overeached legally - and subsequently - screwed up.

The overzealous little bastard stepped in doo-doo big time!

Yup!

"There are none so blind as those who will not see."

Dallas...police are pigs who harass tourists!

Downtown Dallas is sprinkled with fine museums, chic upscale restaurants to take brunch in, and a bevy of trendy boutiques so you can shop-til-you-drop.

But, just try to plunk down on a knoll of grass for a moment (if you can find one; downtown Dallas is all concrete, after all) and the city's finest will ride out-of-the-blue on a rickety old bike and rudely bark out:

"Get along little doggie."

For example, today I spied a tourist stretch out on a mound of grass to take a respite from it all under a glorious mid-day sun, when he was urged to move on by a couple of law enforcement officers.

When the upscale gentleman in town on business noted he want to take a breather in the parkk for a second or two, one overzealous copper was inclined to snidely remark:

"They don't like that here."

They?

You'd think with the economy failing the way it has been, Dallas and its residents, would be welcoming visitors (and the influx of ready cash) with open arms.

In addition to being thick around the waist and butt, these two losers appeared to be thick in the head as well.

I wanted to point out that one of the last sacred rights an individual has in this great nation is the one that provides that citizens be able to walk the streets freely (and sit in a park openly) without the threat of harassment or a violation of their rights.

But, I expect "they" would have hauled me away and silenced my voice much like they did to another advocate of basic rights and freedoms way back in Dallas in 1963

Dallas, get rid of your "pigs".

After all, they're a detriment to your image!

West Hollywood Sheriffs...harass residents & waste taxpayers' money!

A friend of mine pulled into the curb at the corner of Waring and Kings Road at the crack of dawn (5:30 a.m.), dashed out of his vehicle, and snatched up a copy of the morning daily from the news stand.

Typical of an avid reader of the Times, he flipped through the pages to check out the headlines - and likewise - make sure all the sections were intact.

Darn!

Just as he realized the "California" section was missing, he was blinded by a dazzling white light that streaked through the windshield at lightning speed.

When he peered out, he spied a Sheriff's squad car at the intersection, but because of the intensity of the light was unable to discern how many officers were inside at first

As my friend shifted into drive, and proceeded to carry on, he spied an agitated-looking driver in a vehicle behind the officers waiting for the Sheriffs to roar off and get out of his way.

Typical!

Wherever they go, Sheriffs in West Hollywood inconvenience the locals because of their thoughtless conduct and perverse tendency to harass residents without good reason who are minding their own business and acting within the confines of the law.

On Santa Monica Boulevard a few minutes later, my neighbor caught sight of the two officers pulling into a "no parking zone" (just a few meters beyond a bus stop) where they proceeded to step out of the vehicle.

The two losers left the engine running and the headlights on as they lumbered over to - 'ya got it - the doughnut shop!

Yup, harassing residents is not only strenuous work, but whips up an appetite, too.

No doubt, the city's not so finest, were about to scoff down a batch of yummy chocolate doughnuts with sprinkles on 'em.

Just the kind of nudge their spreading butts needed.

A few days ago, Sheriff Baca threatened to close down the jail, as he belly-ached about a lack of funds in the coffers.

No wonder, when the Sheriff's Department is wasting precious funds on jar heads like the two my friend had the misfortune to cross paths with this morning, who have no sense of priority and amount to a couple of slackers.

Dudes, no wonder they call 'ya pigs!

WordPress...violates bloggers' rights, engages in conspiracies, and breaks State & Federal Statutes! A menace to Internet...

When "All About Eve" first flickered up on the big screen decades ago, the back-stabbing high-stakes world of show business - and the theatre, in particular - became known to stage buffs near and far as a treacherous haven for bruised egos, badly-behaving Divas, and unscrupulous gold-digging glory hogs grasping for the brass ring in Hollywood.

Well, they surely lurk in the shadows at the Chalk Repertory Theatre company in my experience, at-the-ready to bite the hand that feeds 'em, and try their hand at playing Brutus!

Oh, what a classless troupe of nasty bast**ds!

For example, a few weeks ago I penned a couple of upbeat posts for the Hollywood Forever Cemetery to promote theatrical events at the staid Hollywood memorial park.

Shortly thereafter, one of the managers in charge of the resting place for a handful of Hollywood notables - Tyrone Power and Rudolph Valentino, for instance - zipped off a press release to notify me that a space renovated on the grounds - the Masonic Lodge - was going to house a new troupe to be henceforth known as the Chalk Repertory Theatre Company.

I was invited to attend a launch party where the "founding mothers" proceeded to gleefully toast guests and announce their first production of the season.

The staging of 3 Sisters by Anton Chekhov was going to be a unique theatrical experience, they promised!

Since I am always interested in promoting local Theatre Groups, Movie Houses down-on-their-luck, and other community-related events that warrant good press, I penned a beautiful post to help their project along and bring it to the attention of my readers.

When I attended the premiere, however, I was disappointed.

In fact, the production was so amateurish, that I was inclined to be kind and forgo on writing a review.

Then, something odd occurred.

Out-of-the-blue, a woman by the name of Elizabeth Liang contacted me by e-mail, made some wild allegations, and then proceeded to demand that I make edits to my promo post (which I found not only inappropriate, but unethical, and downright annoying).

In response, I politely informed the hair-brained twit, that I was not in the habit of handing the reins of editorial control over to any third party and rejected her menacing overtures.

At this point, the woman went off-the-handle and made a series of threats, so I blocked all future incoming e-mail communications.

In retrospect it appears that she was in "league" with the Chalk Repertory Theatre troupe who were not happy with the promo post because I did not facilitate the use of publicity materials provided by their PR person.

Tough ti**y.

Once it was evident that I would not budge, Ms. Liang and actors at the Chalk Rep troupe hatched up a twisted plot to undermine the blog post, force their will - and ultimately - try to damage my name and reputation with third parties.

On the premise that I was utilizing materials I was not entitled to for 3 Sisters, Liang and her red-neck ruffians, contacted Wordpress and made a number of false and misleading statements to turn the blog spot against me.

Unfortunately, the gentleman they contacted (Mark, who preferred not to provide a last name) didn't have much of an IQ and was unfamiliar with State & Federal Laws pertaining to the matters at issue.

Subsequently, he lamely jumped into the fray without checking the facts and proceeded to Violate my Rights and engage in wrongful illegal conduct, all to my damage.

In response, I zipped off an e-mail citing applicable laws (and arguments in support), and chastised him for engaging in such reprehensible irresponsible conduct that was in Violation of my rights.

At this juncture, "Mark" made some bald-faced claims - which sounded preposterous to me - and actually tried to throw the blame on an agency he claimed was basically above-the-law that he was bound to legally kow-tow to.

Needless to say, he whined in his e-mail that unless he took action he'd have to face liability.

Ha!

Within twenty-four hours, by virtue of his own conflicting statements and actions - and bolstered by incriminating evidence that was piling up the minute in my corner - I managed to establish that the silly moron misrepresented the facts and engaged in deceitful and dishonest conduct - and a nasty cover-up - to avoid blame for his wrongful illegal conduct at Wordpress.

I also pointed out for the record, that if what he said were true, I would have to take appropriate legal action to correct the obvious wrong.

After all, if something is broke - an intelligent individual doesn't ignore the problem - they try to fix it.

Of course, shrinking violets like Mark - without any ba**s to speak of - would prefer to just wimp out!

Notwithstanding the aforementioned, it was also obvious to me when the WordPress employee failed to provide vital information I requested that I was legally entitled to, that he was handing me a heapload of bullsh**.

Also, Mark openly and actively engaged in an ongoing conspiracy when he contacted the troupe at Chalk Repertory Theatre behind my back, and thereafter, secretly proceeded to do their bidding.

Once I put two and two together - and came up with skulduggery - I sent an e mail to Ms. Liang and advised her in no uncertain terms that if she continued to slander, libel, or defame me, I would sue for damages.

I also enlightened her to another serious reality.

Her conduct over the stretch of a few days amounted to threats and harassment; in view of this, I vowed to Ms. Liang that if she did not cease and desist, I would file a criminal complaint against her with Law Enforcement.

Then, something curious happened.

I began to receive a series of annoying anonymous e-mails as unknown individuals engaged in rapid-fire attempts to publish posts on my blog site in support of Liang and the theatre company.

From the nature of the content, it was obvious to any fool, who put the scurrilous individuals up to their outrageous disturbing conduct.

But, one message was the tip off.

In that communication, I was informed (again by an anonymous coward) that as long as there were good reviews of the production, no one would mind my use of the material originally objected to.

A-ha!

They were trying to coerce me into penning a glowing review!

I expect the evidence in my possession (saved for future reference) is sufficient to bring a criminal action against the parties on charges of coercion, implied threats, and attempted extortion.

After all, I do not respond well to threats, harassment, and intimidation tactics.

Needless to say, in view of the circumstances, I penned a review.

I don't expect it was the one Chalk Repertory Theatre was pining for, though!

Obviously, when you consider a comment an anonymous scoundrel tried to publish the afternoon the stinko run-down of their production was posted on my blog.

"You're a meanie," they lamented.

Ah, the Chalk Rep Theatre troupe and Ms. Liang don't know the half of it.
They fu**ed with the wrong person!

In view of what transpired over the past few days with demented Chalk Rep Theatre actors - and the diabolical Ms. Liang - I am inclined to refer to the production with a title that is more apropros under the circumstances.

3 C**ts, for instance.

To paraphrase a line from the musical Chicago:

"They had it coming."

Las Vegas bound...not! Fitzgerald Hotel Casino security guards harass guests...

On the heels of a program the Tourism bureau launched to rustle up travel to "Las Vegas", security guards at Fitzgerald's Hotel Casino have managed to sabotage the promotion by engaging in reprehensible conduct that is scaring travellers away!

Sources have reported that unsavory-looking security guards have been following slot-players around the gambling floor at whim - and on occasion have not only demanded I.D. - but unlawfully detained the unsuspecting victims in the process.

And, more often than not, the victims have been treated in a rude and insulting manner by these "pigs".

When complaints were made to Hotel Management, employees at Fitzgerald's Casino showed little remorse for the reprehensible conduct, which has angered a number of regular visitors to the city.

One irate gambler noted that when he was stopped - singled out, if you like - the shake-down gave onlookers the impression that he was some kind of criminal, or at a minimum, that he had engaged in some-kind-of wrongful conduct which resulted in unwarranted harassment at the hands of the bonehead guards.

Obviously, these losers are rejects from the police academy with psychological problems, who swear by a badge and a gun to assert their manhood.

Dudes, a gun is no substitute for a long stiff di**.

Get therapy, quick!

When calls were put into Hotel management to register complaints, staff at Fitzgerald's tried to toss the blame on the security company.

But, the truth of the matter is, the Casino is responsible because they hired the wild cavalier rent-a-cops without proper screening.

And now, there will be hell to pay.

Notwithstanding, because Fitzgerald's Casino is private property - staff are under the mistaken impression that a guest's rights are left at the door along with the U.S. Constitution and the law of the land - the Bill of rights.

In fact, when I put in a call to a Manager - "Stacy" - she shrugged off the complaint issues.

She harped it was a silly complaint - in spite of the fact the guest(s) in question were not only stopped and harassed - but demeaned and thoroughly humiliated in front of bystanders witness to the shocking events.

Obviously, the woman is not only ignorant about rights issues, but suffers from a low IQ.

I find it ironic that at a time when City officials are wringing their hands over a dramatic loss of business in sin city in recent months - that employees at Fitzgerald's are hastening the exodus from the desert by touting heinous conduct that is not only wrongful - but flies in the face of the right of an individual to be treated with fairness, dignity and respect.

Vegas bound?

Not until the Fitzgerald - and other Hotels who engage in similar reprehensible conduct - change a barbaric policy that can no longer be tolerated in a civilized community.

Private Investigators...scumbags of the Earth; harass, stalk, and Violate Rights!

Undoubtedly, a number of you are following the Pellicano case underway in the Los Angeles courthouse.

Mr. Pellicano is a private investigator who was hired by a disreputable individual to run interference against his enemies - sully their credibility, spread smut about them - with the ultimate aim of damaging their names and reputations.

And he used every trick in the book, including a handful of illegal ones, to accomplish that end.

He is currently on trial for alleged wiretapping, racketeering and other crimes.

This past week, there was much testimony about retired phone company technician, Rayford Turner, who is accused by the Government of having helped Pellicano with the wiretaps.

Teresa Wright (a former sales support manager at the phone carrier) divulged on the witness stand that she surreptitiously supplied Turner, a friend, with confidential information on people the government alleges Pellicano was wiretapping.

On the heels of this revelation, it was disclosed to the rapt Jury, that accessing that information without a valid service reason violated the phone company's code of ethics.

As Nixon henchmen would joke - "Pellicano "rat-f**ked" people, man."

All in a day's business for most private investigators.

When it comes to divorce cases, PI's are generally hired to sift through the dirty laundry.

You'll spy 'em lurking outside sleazy motel rooms in rattle-trap late model autos (picking their noses, no doubt) as they lay in wait for the incriminating "catch" - a revealing photo or some juicy tidbit - to aid in their client's scurrilous bidding. No holds barred.

Think LA CONFIDENTIAL, and you'll get the idea.

Apparently when a dispute between a top model and her ex-boyfriend struck frenzied peaks, a PI actually delved into garbage bins seeking DNA samples from items tossed in the bathroom trash. Yup, the stakes get high when high profile careers and big bucks are involved!

According to my sources, car dealerships are notorious for hiring Private Dicks to track down vehicles that have gone astray after failed payments, or disputes have arisen after a buyer determines the sellers unloaded lemons on 'em - or misrepresented the vehicle or financing details - you name it.

Oh, those folks are a nasty, low-life gang of white-trailer trash, for sure.

One woman, Susan Holmes, claims to be a licensed Private Investigator out of Trabuco Canyon in Orange County. Curiously, in spite of a thorough search on the Internet, this shadowy figure is difficult to pin down.

A review of the State's database of licensed investigators, for instance, doesn't turn up diddly squat.

Maybe, she's using an alias to distance herself from her outlandish, unlawful antics?

If so, it would appear that in her twisted mind she's under the wild impression that she's as keen at the art of detective work as the master - Sherlock Holmes. Why else would she associate with the surname, Holmes?

With these demented losers, who knows!

If she's the "Susan Holmes" who posted a comment on a web site about her ability "to hide drugs" from the police, then maybe that's the answer in a nutshell. If the woman is an addict - her faculties may be so befuddled by the stupor - that the line has blurred between what is lawful and what is not.

Could it be that it's the sale of drugs that has afforded her the luxury of boasting ownership of a horse ranch in Trabuco Canyon? After all, it's difficult to fathom how a lowly agent for a repo agency manages to lay claim to such expensive digs. The spoils of her illegal pursuits? You figure it out.

Someone should take aim and upset her apple cart because she's not only trampling on an individual's privacy - but oftentimes - viciously harassing and violating their rights in the process.

On one occasion, Ms. Holmes actually posed as a consumer's wife (he was single at the time) in a sneaky bold-faced effort to obtain his private phone records from the telephone company; then, proceeded to call the numbers on the billing statement to summarily slander and defame him to friends, family, and business associates.

Then, she disappeared into the woodwork, bragging about the mayhem she left in her wake.

Without any qualms, she's known to falsely allege that a person she's "tracking" is homosexual or lesbian (whichever applies), taking drugs, carousing at gay (or straight) bars all night, ripping people off - whatever it takes to shock and demean - is okay in her books.

In fact, it appears that she gets some kind of a perverse kick out of it, according to my sources.

While the attack is intended to defame - on occasion - she manipulates the cause to coerce a party into succumbing to demands - and ultimately - abandoning legitimate claims against her ensigns and employers.

Do her neighbours in Trabuco Canyon know what skullduggery she's up to when she slips out at night to to foist cars out from under unsuspecting citizens deep in slumber, unaware of the evil that is about to descend on them?

Her associates are prone to make outrageous threats, as well.

On more than one occasion, sources have informed me that callers at her behest, have hissed at startled victims,

"Unless you return the vehicle now, a bounty hunter will track you down."

In fact, PI's often make menacing calls several times a day, in spite of the fact Consumer Protection Statutes specify that such conduct by debt collectors is unlawful.

And to think this kind of repulsive conduct is condoned by auto dealerships like Sunrise Ford (San Fernando Valley) and others in the Los Angeles area.

The film "Repo Man" wasn't far off in its depiction of the trade!

You'd think these establishments were run by the mob, and that at any given moment, burly guys in black suits with spaghetti on their ties might show up to break legs and bust heads.

Unfortunately, Ms. Holmes has been so clever at covering her tracks, and concealing her elusive whereabouts by deceitfully using aliases, that victims have been unable to bring legal action or lodge a complaint against her with State Officials who regulate the conduct of Private Investigators.

Understandably, the field is so poorly policed, that most of these degenerates get away with their harassment and what amounts to "Urban Terrorism".

Until now, that is.

A formal complaint was lodged against Ms. Holmes this past week with the State Attorney Generals office and an investigation is pending.

It boggled my mind to learn friends of the parties being "chased down" had the audacity to answer phone calls from these flakes - and on occasion - disclosed intimate facts about their friends and family without hesitation. I'd show them the door!

Thereafter, Ms. Holmes and her henchmen used the private and confidential information to further their cause.

A handful of intelligent consumers have gotten wise over the years, have you?

Out of curiosity, I took a course for Private Detectives a few years back, to get a take on the "industry".

What an eye-opening experience!

I was flabbergasted to learn what any bozo is capable of dredging up on the Internet, with a few tools of the trade, and some smarts at his or her fingertips.

The first place a skip tracer checks?

The voter's list of course; the info is a matter of public record and easy to obtain. Yeah, although you think you're doing your civic duty when you sign up each year to vote, you may be opening yourself up to the clever maneuverings of an ambitious bill collector, a stalker, or worse.

A suggestion?

Rent a mail box at the local post office. Then, use the secure mailing address for all records that filter into the public realm, so no prying eyes can act on 'em.

To avoid further scrutiny, be wary of signing up willy-nilly for subscriptions to newspapers and magazines. After all, it's a snap for an experienced PI to access those files, too.

Did you know that detailed financial information on mortgage papers are in the public domain, as well? Granted, a person has to engage in a little savvy leg at the Hall of Records to secure the data, but when bucks are involved - you bet your sweet bippy - someone will be quick on the uptake.

After all, mortgage documents not only reveal the name of your bank, but your social security number, and your marital status - among other things.

With this information, the PI can saunter off on another tangent; who knows, maybe access IRS records by their automated system, or find out your last transaction from a credit report to fathom where you shop.

Then, use the info to lay in wait for you!

Seem preposterous?

Most of these pretentious d**ks are just small potatoes in the grand scheme of things. Once their victim coughs up the money, or they manage to snatch up the vehicle, they'll go their merry way.

But, shouldn't you take precautions for the future?

Tips

Use a Post Office Box to ensure your home address is confidential and out of the public record. For instance, direct mail for your Driver's License, credit card accounts, and bank statements to that location for security reasons. In the event you are ever out-of-town on holiday, or business, it may be lifesaver and bring you peace of mind to boot.

Use a voice mail number for applications, surveys on the street and contests to avoid being the victim of thieves, spammers, and rip-off salesmen.

Use initials to signify your identity whenever possible on subscriptions for e-mail newsletters, magazines, and the like, to protect gender info and throw off potential stalkers.

Use a secret code on your telephone account so no one can access your statement over the phone without your knowledge or permission.

Install a secret code on credit card accounts to prevent a review of your account without your authorization or knowledge.

Buy a call display screen device for your phone so you can verify the identity of a caller before you pick up. If you're out when a message was left, use reverse look-up (Internet Search) before returning the call for further protection. If the number is not listed, and the caller claimed to be a business entity or service provider, be cautious. It may be a scam and/or a fraudulent attempt to "fish" for information.

And, finally, inform your family and friends not to give out personal and confidential information on the telephone to anyone - under any circumstances - without your permission first, no matter how tempting.

After all, protection starts at home...

Be wary of Micro cameras in belt buckles...

Golden Nugget Hotel...harasses patrons and discriminates against individuals attired in Calvin Klein fashions!

Fabulous Las Vegas?
Not!

Today I was involved in a shocking and disturbing incident at the Golden Nugget Hotel here in Las Vegas, which has shaken me considerably!

After having a coffee and doughnut on Fremont Street, I stepped into the Golden Nugget to play a few of the slot machines. I selected a one-arm bandit, and began to place bets, as usual. A cocktail waitress sauntered by at one point, offered me a beverage, and wished me good luck with my game.

In a short while, I got up and picked another machine, to try my luck there. In fact, I probably bet on a handful of machines over the course of a half-an-hour.

Suddenly, as I was pondering whether to exit and go uptown - and perhaps take in a show - a woman in a dark suit who identified herself as "security" - blocked my path and demanded to see my identification!

I was in total shock! Had I done something wrong? Was there a case of mistaken identity or something? My thoughts started running wild, I suddenly felt dizzy, and nauseous, and out-of-breath.

When I gathered my emotions, and my head stopped reeling, I asked her, "Why?"

She claimed she observed me walking about the Hotel Casino without betting, scanning the machines, and accused me of looking suspicious!

Well, that was a total lie. In my hand, I was holding a voucher which verified I was betting for at least the last half hour (both time stamped & dated); in addition, the cocktail waitress could also verify the security guard's statements were a total falsehood.

When I noted this, she bristled, then retorted in a nasty, demeaning tone of voice, "Well, I have a right to ask for your ID."

But, the grounds on which she based her decision, had no merit whatsoever!

I felt insulted at this point.

Because there were no sufficient grounds for harassing me, and I was a patron of the Casino for the past few days, it was evident to me that the woman had not only acted out-of-line, but was discriminating against me for some inexplicable reason - and in the process - was seriously violating my rights, as well.

I asked to see her supervisor, who appeared behind me moments later.

When I started to complain, he smiled like a Cheshire cat, and tried to wave me off.

"We can ask to see anyone's ID," he replied smugly.

I pointed out, however, that she based her actions on the grounds that I was wandering about the lobby, that I was not patronizing the Hotel, and appeared to be some kind of bum or street person, with no right to be in their Casino!

Which was totally untrue.

When it was evident he was trying to protect her, and shoo me off, I asked to see the Manager.

He responded quite adamantly, "You're speaking to him."

"You're the Manager of the Hotel," I queried further.

He hesitated, stammered a bit, then blurted out, "No, I'm not".

In response, I said, "I demand to see the manager right away so I can lodge a formal complaint."

And, I proceeded to explain why.

"I am thoroughly insulted by the woman's inappropriate actions, which unnecessarily humiliated me, in front of all the patrons in this section of the Casino."

He trotted off to find the Casino Manager with me in tow. After a guard managed to secure his whereabouts by walkie-talkie, he appeared about fifteen minutes later.

At first, Mr. Realmuto tried to use the same excuse - that the woman was correct in her position - because the Hotel had the right to ask anyone on the premises for ID at any given time at their discretion.

However, when I pointed out that the grounds on which the woman stated her reasons for making the request were totally without merit - and that she had slandered me in front of other hotel guests in the vicinity of the incident in the process - he recanted.

At this juncture, he agreed to have a word with her supervisor, and try to resolve the issue. In addition, he assured me that she would apologize for her outrageous conduct which caused me undue mental and emotional distress in front of a roomful of strangers.

After about fifteen minutes, Mr. Realmuto returned and informed me that he had spoken with her supervisor, that she would apologize - and that if she did not - he'd put her on suspension.

As he walked off, he noted that matter was now in the hands of her supervisor.

Meanwhile, out of the corner of my eye, I spied the man in question with another security guard about fifteen feet away, laughing at me, and making jokes about the incident. After the Casino Manager was out of sight, the supervisor walked over and informed me the woman refused to apologize - but added - that he would do so on her behalf.

I pointed out that Mr. Realmuto assured me that if she did not make amends herself, that she would be suspended. In response, he stared at me coldly for a moment, then panicked.

Our talks went downhill after that.

When I informed the man (who would not provide his name) that I wanted to file a formal complaint, he arranged for the Director of Security to bring a standard form down to fill out; however, when the gentleman arrived, he argued with the supervisor most strenuously against providing it. In fact, he was downright reticent about handing over the paperwork.

In retrospect, it would appear that he did not want any record of the incident, in spite of the fact there was a roomful of witnesses standing on the sidelines, watching the drama unfold with great intensity.

I noted my intention to file a complaint with the Executive Management of the Hotel and the owners.

At this juncture, I also noted that Mr. Realmuto let it slip that the security woman who harassed me, may have acted the way she did because I was dressed in the manner I was - in a plaid shirt and black jeans.

So, I asked the supervisor - point-blank - to state for the record if the Golden Nugget discriminated against patrons based on casual attire.

He replied with a stunned look, "...it depends on the circumstance."

Well now, is that not discrimination in its truest form?

It should be noted that I was wearing Calvin Klein designer clothes, which were clean and pressed, and relatively new. Are Mr. Klein's clothes not acceptable at the Golden Nugget Hotel?

It should be noted that I was also carrying a flap jacket, so I have to wonder if the woman thought I was in the Military; in that event, does the Golden Nugget discriminate against individuals they suspect to be members of the Armed Forces?

Are the young men who fight for this country, and put themselves at risk and in harm's ways - to ensure our basic rights and freedoms are secure - not welcome at the Golden Nugget either?

Obviously, something is clearly amiss at the Golden Nugget!

The actions of the security staff were wild and reckless, discriminatory in nature, and amounted to harassment. Throughout the shocking, disturbing incident, my rights were violated in the process.

So, I intend to lodge a formal complaint with the Hotel Executive Management, and the owners of the Golden Nugget.

In addition, I shall seek appropriate legal counsel to bring litigation forward - if necessary - to deter such outrageous, heinous, wrongful conduct in the future.

In the interim, I urge all tourists, and visitors to the Las Vegas resort area, to boycott the Golden Nugget - or at least - steer clear of patronage.

After all, this could happen to any one of you.

According to employees I spoke to after the incident, this is the kind of typical, disturbing conduct, that is ongoing at the Golden Nugget Hotel in Las Vegas.

I say, steer clear of this establshment like the plague.

Amen!
