Ryan Reynolds...masturbates to Spanish Soap Operas! Prefers 6 pack of beer, eh?

On the show-biz circuit to promote the "Green Lantern" (released around the country at a theatre near you this week) Ryan Reynolds (sexy flavor of the month) fessed up that he was suspended from a high school in Vancouver (B.C.) for being a naughty cut-up when he was a pimply-faced teen.

But, the penalty - according to the buffed hunk (who sauntered out from behind the curtain in an elegant cream-colored suit teamed with a tasteful chic tie on one top-rated talk-show) - was a plus.

"That's punishment? Staying home from school?" he chuckled to the host, in so many words.

"I just laid back on my bed all day and masturbated to Spanish soap operas!"

Uh-huh!

Those Latino hunks are sure to cause a rise in the old Levis - if that's your cup-of-tea - that is.

Maybe Ryan should hook up with Ricky Martin next time they cross paths on the red carpet, eh?

By the way, Mr. Reynolds appears to have "butched-up" his act a smidgen since the last time I caught one of his insightful (!) interviews on the telly.

Somehow, the outgoing performer came across as less "gay" than he usually does.

His cut muscled bod doesn't hurt his image, for starters.

But, according to the charismatic actor - who triggers whoops and hollers from fans (both female & male) whenever he makes a public appearance (and in movie theatres when he pops up on screen) - he's ready to heave whenever a reporter quizzes him about his awesome abs.

Now that the action-adventure film is in the can and screening around the Nation - and the strenuous work-outs are behind him - the handsome thespian underscores that he pines to loll about on the couch and chug-a-lug about ten beers.

"I'm Canadian, after all," he shrugs, without apology.

Yup!

Us Canucks can party-hearty, alright.

And, kick some butt, when the local hockey team loses big time in a sports match.

By the way, I intend to catch the "Green Lantern" over the weekend (and will post a review in the next few days).

'Til then!

The Strokes...appear live! on Dave Letterman! Hard-hitting sound!

If 'ya missed the Strokes live on stage on the Jimmy Fallon show the other evening, you have a second shot at catching the band in their element in front of a captive audience.

On April 7th, the hard-driving band - with the sexy swagger, chic stage presence, and tunes that resonate - will be appearing on Late Night with Dave Letterman.

The Strokes are a five-piece band who hail from New York.

Julian Casablancas (Vocals), Nick Valensi (lead guitar), Albert Hammond, Jr. (rhythm guitar), Nikolai Fraiture (bass) and Fabrizio Moretti (drums) are the band members to keep your eye on.

The winsome fivesome emerged from the “Garage Rock Revival” in early 2000.

The sexy hard-hitting Strokes offer up an eclectic mix of glaring guitars, speedy percussion, and catchy lyrics that resonate.

With each new release, the talented band gains momentum.
The Strokes have sold-out shows in the UK, the U.S. and Europe.

A headlining slot at Lollapalooza in 2010 catapulted the Strokes to even greater heights.

A current round of the late-night talk-show circuit is bound to elevate their status on a greater International scale and trigger humungous sales for their upcoming album (released in the next week).

Catch the Strokes wave, eh?

The View...bit**es behaving badly! Walters referees to no avail...

Foaming bit**es rev up ratings on controversial View!

If you reside in the Western Hemisphere - and you lack any discerning taste when it comes to television talk shows - you probably caught the ruckus which erupted this past week on the View - when Bill O'Reilly guested on the popular morning show.

Shortly after Mr. O'Reilly started to cut up and hang "loose" during some back-and-forth patter - two of the regular house bit**es (homely Whoopi Goldberg/has-been comic &  screechy Joy Behar/tacky gossip Queen) - became so incensed that they stomped their foots and stormed off the set in a seething rage.

In response, Barbara Walters was inclined to lament to a cameraman - as he panned her way in desperation - that she was vehemently opposed to what went down minutes earlier.

"That should never happen on this show," she cried out in exasperation.

But, the disgruntled ego-maestros were long gone, and WaWa's huffy critcisms ended up falling on deaf ears.

Later, two of the disgruntled heavyweight TV personalities - Bill O'Reilly and Joy Behar - came out fighting on each of their respective night-time gab fests.

Meanwhile, a bemused Nation gazed on in disbelief.

Seasoned professionals?

Ill-mannered losers, more like it.

Just betcha, the Network ratings went through, though.

Dave Letterman Show...Jessica Simpson quote on being a lard ass!

I wouldn't want Jessica to roll over on me!

On Dave Letterman's show last night - Jessica Simpson (all dolled-up and squeezed into a vivid hooker-red cocktail dress) - made no bones about it (lovely or not) - when the big one reared its ugly head (inside-or-outside the boudoir).

With a shrug, and a smug smirk on her puffy face, the blond (dark at the roots) sexpot stated matter-of-fact her position (missionary or otherwise) on the issue of weight:

"I thought guys liked having something to hold onto."

Yes, Jessica baby!

But, they'd prefer not have to facilitate a fork lift to maneuver their plus-size mammas in-between-the-sheets!

Ellen DeGeneres...addicted to the twitter bug! Underthings fetish! And, Facebook alert...

In an old "tit for tat" scenario, Ellen started to follow me the past twenty-four hours after a synchronistic moment unwittingly caused us to cross paths.

Ever since, we've both been twittering incessantly.

Can you fancy that?

Yup, the tweets keep coming!

Can the hits be far behind?

While the phenomenon of twitter rages on around the country, Ellen was inclined to point a proverbial finger at the obvious.

"This Twitter stuff is kinda ADDICTIVE isn't it? "

'Ya don't say!

Also, amusing, insightful, and potentially naughty.

Yes, naughty!

In a tweet about an hour ago, Ellen sauntered below the belt, when she was inclined to warble about the intriguing intimate "business" (a TMZ anatomy term oft-facilitated by a blond cutie over there) of one of her guests.

"Matt Nathanson is an amazing singer and songwriter. He’s also got some of the best taste in underwear I’ve ever seen."

Golly, Ellen has a fetish for fancy underthings!

So, I sent her a link to a post I penned last year on sexy bikinis, designed by N2N.

http://ijulian.blogspot.com/2008/09/n2n-mens-underwearsexy-low-slung.html

But, like me, Ellen is also focused on important issues of the day.

For instance, she touts a documentary - "Food, Inc." - for those keen on knowing where the stuffings for their three squares a day come from.

And, Ms. Generous (I've nick-named her with that since it's a truism 100%) is also fond of having feline friends roam about the range in close quarters at home.

Ellen, it just hit me like a thunderbolt!

You are the perfect person to ask about something that has been nagging the heck out of me.

Is it true that if a woman has more than 3 cats that she is a lesbian?

Enquiring minds want to know.

By the way, Ellen put out a call for follower assistance yesterday in respect to her stature at Facebook.

Gosh almighty, I expect that when you're in the limelight like Ellen is, you have to keep up with the Jonas Boys, the toy-boys of old cougars, you name it.

Yup, Ellen is aiming for the pie in the sky.

She wants to rustle up 1 million friends on Facebook.

No mean feat, huh?

So, get the word out, and start signing up pronto.

Bottom line?

Let's put that pretty boy with the candy a** to shame, eh?

Show off!
